Madden Tournament Rules

Basic Rules

-Teams will be chosen among their default settings without any drafts or other alterations to the team.

-Players will Play in a neutral Stadium.

-Players may select the same team.

-Matches will be decided in a best-of-one game.

-No match will end in a draw; Overtime will be played until a winner has been decided.

-Forfeited matches will have a final recorded score of 21-0.

-Matches will be organized in a single-elimination bracket format. If there are an odd number of competitors, one player will get a BYE through a lottery system.

Game Settings:

• Quarter Length: 5 Minutes
• Play Clock: 40 Seconds
• Skill Level: All-Madden
• Weather: Clear
• Injuries: Off
• Fatigue: On (Set to 50)
• Accelerated Clock: 20 Sec
• Even Teams: Off
• Game Speed: Normal
• Game Mode: Competitive
• Stadium Selection options: Pro Bowl Stadium, Allianz Arena, Estadio Azteca, Tottenham Hotspurs, Wembley Stadium

Disqualification may occur if at any point during the tournament a competitor:

• Is over 10 minutes late to their match after being called to play.
• Falsely accuses another competitor of cheating.
• Damages ESPC property.
• Threatens, intimidates, disrespects, or in any other way makes tournament staff, spectators, and competitors feel uncomfortable.
• Requests to be removed from the tournament.
• Uses unapproved programs.

Check-in will be at 5:30 pm, the tournament will begin promptly at 6 pm.
